Thank you for coming to read my blog. This blog will be able to touch on different topics with each post that I find interesting and informative. I double majored in Marine Biology and International Studies (Globalization concentration) during my undergraduate. When I am not reading/watching movies/learning, I enjoy taking walks and go into online global forums.

How I Got Into International Studies:

I always liked different cultures, but I probably got into international studies was in high school. I started obsessively reading newspapers from different countries around the world. Unfortunately, at the time, I didn't know enough of a second language to broaden my readings out of English written newspapers which are typically biased to varying extents. Now, I read articles in both English and Spanish, so some of my articles will be in sourced to Spanish newspapers.

Why I Decided to Start the Blog:

I like international studies and wanted to help people learn more. I also enjoy teaching and this is amazing practice on learning how to break down some very big concepts. I will try to explain these the best I can, but I might also discuss how some concepts are even crazier when we see them evolve over time. I also lean towards constructivism in a lot of my research but I will make sure to touch on some other theories/ ontologies.

Where I Want to Travel to:

I want to go basically everywhere at different points. Right now, I want to travel to some countries in Europe since my travel plans were COVID cancelled and I have friends there. I have friends living in almost every continent though so I would love to visit them all.
